We carefully reclaim urban and residential trees that might otherwise be lost to development or natural aging, giving them a renewed purpose. Each log carries a story, and through thoughtful selection and expert milling, we transform these trees into beautiful lumber and timeless pieces built to last.

At the heart of our mill is a passionate team of skilled artisans dedicated to every stage of the process — from precision saw milling and kiln drying to the final refined finish. What We Do

Every piece of timber in our yard has a story. We source logs locally, handle the loading and transport, and track each one from the moment it's picked up using our digital inventory system.

Search for Logs
We are constantly searching for wood that will make nice furniture pieces. If you have something you think may be of interest, please reach out! We will be happy to pay you a finders fee if it is something we can use.
Transport
We then transport the materials to one of our locations for storage or further processing.

Traceability
It is important to us to be able to share the story of each tree. We assign inventory numbers and tracking history to each piece in our inventory. If you would like to know the history on your special piece, please ask us!
Load & Remove
We work with land owners, home owners, or businesses to safely, promptly, and considerately remove logs. We will bring machinery or hire the needed resources to make this safe and efficient for all.

Credibility Grant Recipient: Kern County Waste Faciliy

In support of wood not going to landfills, Timber Custom Woods will pick up and ultimately upcycle cuttings from anywhere in the Kern County region and use in a project.
