Saw Milling Services
Your Logs, Cut to Your Specifications
Whether you’re bringing us a freshly felled tree or sourcing a log from our yard, our milling service is built around your project’s needs.
We cut slabs, beams and dimensional lumber to your specifications using professional-grade equipment designed to handle logs of all sizes and species.
Every cut is made with intention, taking into account the log’s grain pattern, natural character and structural integrity to get the most out of every piece of wood.

Our Process
From Forest to Furniture
Every piece of wood in our shop started as a standing tree. We manage every step of the journey in house, from sourcing and milling to drying and surfacing, so the lumber that reaches your project is properly conditioned, carefully inspected and ready to build with.
Sourcing the Wood
We rescue trees from local trimmers, utility companies, farmers and homeowners, evaluating each log for species, size and potential before hauling it back to our yard.
Milling & Air Drying
Each log is slabbed into thick cuts and restacked with spacers for airflow. The slabs are tagged in our inventory system and left to air dry naturally for up to three years.
Kiln Drying & Inspection
Once moisture drops to around 20%, the slabs move into our kiln to reach furniture-grade levels while eliminating bugs and fungi. Every piece is scanned for moisture pockets before moving on.
Surfacing & Inventory
Dried slabs are run through our flattening machine to reveal the natural grain and create a clean surface, then photographed, cataloged and added to our inventory.
